Being a huuuuge Star Wars fan I was excited to hear about another Star Wars game coming out for mobile devices that doesn’t involve shooting birds and pigs that resemble characters from the movies. Star Wars Tiny Death Star was finally released today in both the Android and iTunes App Store. The game I think has come up with a very different concept when it comes to Star Wars games.
This Star Wars mobile game plays similar to NimbleBit’s Tiny Tower game where you have to build and manage your very own Death Star! Since NimbleBit did help develop the game, the characters also resemble Tiny Towns 8-bit style graphics.
Star Wars Tiny Death Star will let you employ 30 different “bitizens” from all over the Star Wars galaxy, such as Wookiees and Ewoks. You will also be allowed to develop as much as 80 different residential and commercial Death Star floors. Not only will you be required to manage your bitizens and Death Star floors, the game will require you to keep an eye out for rebel spies and to capture them before they escape.
Star Wars Tiny Death Star is available on both the Android and iTunes App Store for free. So I highly suggest downloading it now, especially since the developers are offering a launch promotion for anyone who downloads it today.
