Scurvy Scallywags

The popular match-3 RPG, originally released on the App Store, has finally been released for Android devices. Those unfamiliar with Scurvy Scallywags should note that it is not your ordinary match-3 puzzler that flood the app stores.

Scurvy Scallywags puts it’s own unique twist to the popular match-3 genre by placing your pirate hero right onto the board. With your hero on the board you will be swipping and matching tiles around including your hero. Having your pirate on the board lets you battle various other pirates along with monsters and will also let you pick up quest items from the board.

You will also be given the ability to build various ships which will help improve your pirate’s stats. Along with building ships Scurvy Scallywags also includes pirate-y customization, special skills, side quests, and 50 different achievements.

Scurvy Scallywags has gone F2P but the developers boast that Scurvy Scallywags doesn’t try to shove those IAPs down your throat like every other F2P game. If you fancy yourself a tale of pirates and match-3 puzzles than you can pick up Scurvy Scallywags in the Google Play Store for free, but the game is still $1.99 in the App Store for those iOS gamers out there.
